2004 Cadillac De Ville convertible, in weird burgundy with only 21k miles. Seller wants $23,970.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Interesting...I wonder what company did the conversion.

Wow, that is super low mileage. I wasn't actually aware they made a convertible version of this.
Still, it's a 10-year-old luxury car. I wouldn't pay over $15000

I actually like it, but too stiff of a price. $17k maybe (if I lived in a climate suitable for convertibles).

Holy crackpipe!

"if you want a big sedan that offers athletic handling and performance, a car that feels solid, a car with a luxurious interior, a car with the latest technology, then take a look at the Cadillac DeVille"
This whole line is just hilarious.
Athletic handling, from an early 2000s FWD Cadillac. HA.

they didn't, this is a bespoke conversion

it looks cleanly done

I'm curious as well, that ad only has generic De Ville stuff, they don't even mention that it is a convertible.

4 door modern-ish convertibles are rare, but yeah, 23 is way too much.
![]() 09/08/2014 at 23:26 |

Probably some company did the conversion, but the ad doesn't mention it. Hell, they don't even say that it is a convertible.

That roll bar would also have to be proven functional.

Has to be a custom job. I don't think the convertible aspects would be worth anywhere near tripling the value to me though. CP.

I have seen one of these:
It's worse in person. Crack pipe. Ironically.

What's funnier is that they don't seem to know (or care) that it is a convertible.
"Athletic Handling"

Considering the era of DeVille, I'd put my money on Coach Builders Ltd.

It seriously isn't mentioned a single time in the ad.

Probably Newport customs or whatever they are called.

I highly doubt it, it probably just prevents the canvas top from caving in.

Do you happen to know who did the conversion?
![]() 09/08/2014 at 23:35 |

Nope.

[crack pipe intensifies]

I'll just blame some random group of people then, Belgium did it.

Unibody vehicle - roof = Crack pipe, unless done by the manufacturer.

Saw one of these driving down the road yesterday, not nearly as good looking in person as it is in these pictures. Which is saying something.
